Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) -  The  Speaker of Somali Parliament Sheik Adam Mohamed Nur (Sheik Adam Madobe) condemned those behind roadside bombing in Somalia's capital that killed 21 women who were cleaning Mogadishu street on Sunday morning. The Speaker made the comments at meeting of MPs yesterday and called those behind the killing immoral.

“Those behind the killing of innocent women cleaning a street lacked any sense of morality,” said the Speaker who added that the women were performing their duties to earn a living.

The Speaker sent condolences to families of the women who died in the bomb blast and wished speedy recovery for the women who were wounded.

The Speaker is the second high ranking official in the TFG to speak about the senseless slaughter of innocent women cleaning a street in the city. The TFG Prime Minister also condemned the killings few days ago.

Members of the International Community were also outraged by this merciless act and some of them publicly condemned it including the EU and the UN Special Representative for Somalia.
