Somali Week, set to start on June 28, 2024, has grown from a small 2011 gathering to a national event, attracting over 40,000 attendees. The festival will feature a variety of cultural events, including a keynote Town Hall Meeting with former Prime Minister Hassan Khaire, showcasing Somali culinary arts, music, and traditions.

Somalisnaps, a social media platform dedicated to the Somali diaspora, joins forces with Somali Week to enhance cultural communication and community engagement. This partnership aims to extend the festival's reach and foster a deeper understanding of Somali American heritage across the United States.

Mohamed Farah, from the 2024 Somali Week Host Committee, emphasized the importance of the partnership: "In aligning with Somalisnaps, Somali Week is poised to capture the national imagination, showcasing the richness of Somali American culture and its integral role in the fabric of American diversity," he said. "This collaboration is a testament to the power of community and innovation in bridging cultural divides and celebrating heritage on a grand scale."
