Las Anod (HOL) - The SSC-Khaatumo administration has displayed at least 10 prisoners from the Somaliland forces, who were captured in battles that took place yesterday in the Buq-dharkayn area.
In a statement, the administration stated that the Somaliland army, under the command of President Muse Bihi Abdi, launched an ambush on the nomadic people living in the Yayle area on November 6, which escalated into fighting between the Somaliland army and SSC forces.
Somaliland also claimed victory in the battle, stating that a battalion of specially trained troops participated in the Wednesday's clash.
The newly formed SSC administration has called on the federal government and the international community to work towards ending the conflict, asserting that Muse Bihi is fulfilling his promise to continue the war.
