At least 27 injured in road accident in Garowe

    Garowe (HOL) - At least 27 people were injured in a car accident in Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland on Tuesday.

    An eyewitness told the media that a truck transporting labourers from the IDP camp on the eastern outskirts of Garowe city overturned.

    The injured, including those with serious injuries, have been admitted to Garowe general hospital, where they are being treated.

    Puntland regional authorities did not comment on the most recent accident.

    There is no confirmation on the number of casualites from the rollover.
