Statement from the City Council Leader, Councillor David Mellen
“It’s important that we condemn terrorism wherever it occurs in the world and whatever the misguided motivation.
“Attacks like the one in Somalia yesterday, which led to innocent people losing their lives, shock us all
but it will of course have particularly affected Somali people and communities in the UK, including Nottingham.
“Nottingham, together as a council and a city, stands against terrorism and in support of all those who suffer its tragic consequences.”
