MOGADISHU (HOL) –– One passanger confirmed dead as Daallo Airline flight D3159 made an emergency landing at the Mogadishu airport Tuesday officials said.
Somali aviation officials told HOL that Daallo airline flight from Mogadishu to Djibouti was flying at 6000ft after the pilots realized the problem and made an emergency landing following the mysterious blast inside the plane.
Some of the passengers who were evacuated from the plane told HOL that a blast left a large gape of hole on the plane's side. Two of the passengers have sustained slight injuries.
Officials declined to give more details about the explosion.
