Political analyst predict that the deteriorating relationship between the government and regional states perhaps may precede incendiary political crisis, an exercise donors say may represents serious setbacks for the horn of Africa nation.

However, Somalia’s Parliament speaker Mohamed Sheikh Osman has finally vented his anger towards the regional entities, singling Puntland out as the only legitimate semiautonomous state in Somalia and called others as regional states.

Most of the Somali regional states often identify themselves as semiautonomous states.

Speaking at a constitutional review conference in Mogadishu on Sunday, Mr. Jawari said that majority of people confuse semiautonomous regions to regional states, a misunderstanding he says erred regional states’ status..

“Puntland deserves to be called a semiautonomous region because it was formed before the current constitution was issued.” Jawari told the conference’s attendants.
