Saudi Arabia: King Salman holds talks with Djibouti leader

RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held talks with Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh in Riyadh to review bilateral relations between the two countries, ways of enhancing them in various fields, and the latest developments in the region.

At the start of the meeting, President Guelleh decorated King Salman with the Medal of Djibouti Grand Star, the highest medal in the Horn of African nation, in recognition of the king's efforts in the service of issues of Islamic and Arab nations, the Saud Press Agency said.

The talks were attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh region; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, minister of national guard; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior; Prince Mohammed bin Salman, deputy crown prince, second deputy premier and minister of defense; Minister of State and Cabinet member Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Finance Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Minister of Culture and Information Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; and Saudi Chargé D'affaires in Djibouti Hassan Mohammed Al-Ahmari.

On the Djiboutian side, the talks were attended by Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation and also government spokesman, Djibouti Ambassador to the Kingdom Dhiauddin Bamakhrama and a number of officials.
