Kenya: Police issue warrant of arrest on British Al-shabaab suspect Malik Yassin

Police have issued a warrant of arrest on al Shabaab fighter, Malik Yassin, a British citizen suspected to have sneaked into the country.

Police have asked the public to be on the look out and provide information on whereabouts of the wanted terror suspect.

Yassin, a British of Caucasian complexion has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is tall, slender and speaks with a British accent.

Yassin is suspected to be one of al Shabaab's foreign fighters of British origin.

“We seek your assistance and cooperation in hunting down the pictured suspect,” read a tweet posted by Interior Ministry on social media.

The Star reported on June 17, 2015 of another British al Shabaab foreign fighter, Thomas Evans who was killed in the foiled attack on Baure Kenya Defence Forces Camp in Lamu.
