The Director of Public prosecutions Keriako Tobiko has recommended the arrest and prosecution of Garissa Governor Nadhif Jama Adan and seven others over irregular leasing of ambulances and medical services.

From the files presented by the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC), Tobiko says that Jama should be charged with various criminal offences for leasing the ambulances from Emergency Plus (EPlus) Medical services Limited, a company that is fully owned by the Kenya Red Cross.

Siaya Senator James Orengo has, however, been cleared  due to lack of evidence to link him to illegal allocation of land in Westlands during his tenure as Lands Minister in the Grand Coalition government.

Evans Ngibuini, Managing Director of the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation (NWCPC) has also been cleared of corruption allegations due to lack of evidence in an alleged irregular procurement of structuring cabling of the NWCPC headquarter office block as well as employment of unqualified staff.

The DPP  has also okayed the arrest and prosecution of John Mwangi and 2 other s from Nyeri County over irregular procurement of technical audit services from Pleng (K) Limited.

The files are as a result of a presidential Parliamentary State of the Nation address on the 26th of March 2015 where Uhuru Kenyatta tabled a confidential report for investigations of scandals and prosecution of public officers over graft.
