Somali President Concludes Visit to Sudan

President of the Republic, Field marshal Omer Al Bashir, and the visiting Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, Wednesday evening discussed at the Guest House progress of the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
In a press statement after the meeting, President Al Bashir said that the meeting discussed the bilateral relations through the support being extended by Sudan to the Somali students at all stages as well as the Somali internal issues.
He said that Sudan will continue to support to Somalia till return of the situation to normal.
Meanwhile, the Somali President appreciated the firm ties between Sudan and Somalia, thanking Sudan government and people for their stand alongside Somalia in its crisis.
The Somali President said that he arrived in Sudan to participate in the anniversary of its Independence Day.
The Somali President, Sheikh Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud last Thursday concluded a three-day visit to Sudan during which he participated in the Independence Day celebrations and the inauguration of Roseiris Dam.
The Somali President held talks with the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir. He was seen off at Khartoum Airport by President Al Bashir.
