Friday, July 06, 2012
The Somali Football Federation (SFF) held a two-day workshop on good sportsmanship Wednesday and Thursday (July 4th-5th) to coincide with the 2012 national football championship, Somalia's RBC Radio reported.
SFF Secretary General Abdiqani Said Arab gave the opening address in Mogadishu, encouraging all participants to improve the tournament through the high standards of their behaviour.
"As we know in history, it has never happened that club chairmen, coaches and captains of the Division 1 clubs have assembled at such a workshop, which is mainly intended to strengthen the implementation of fair play and to thank the club chairmen and coaches for their efforts in the promotion of successful tournaments," Arab said.
SFF President Ali Said Guled Rooble also attended the workshop.
