Turkey's Housing Administration (TOKI) held a tender Friday for the construction of a hospital with 200 beds in Somalia.
The tender took place at TOKI headquarters in Bilkent district of Ankara with the participation of nine companies.
The new hospital to be constructed in Somalia would include
polyclinics, an emergency department, a screening center, intensive
care units, surgery rooms, kitchen, morgue and technical centers.
The hospital would also include a guest house for the health team to arrive from Turkey.
TOKI will soon hold tenders for the construction of a nursing school and a religious facility in Somalia
