A 15-year-old is behind bars in connection with a deadly stabbing in south Minneapolis Thursday.

A man called 911 to say he had been stabbed. Officers forced their way into the home in south Minneapolis early Thursday and found the man inside. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

Police said the suspect is an acquaintance of the victim, but they're not releasing either name.

A leader in the Somalian community told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the victim was of Somali decent.
