Former Somali senior military officials to meet in U.S.

Saturday, August 01, 2009

NAIROBI, July 31 (Xinhua) -- The UN Political Office for Somalia (UNPOS) said on Friday it was convening a workshop for former Somali senior military officials under the auspices of the Somali Ministry of Defense next week in Washington.

A statement from UNPOS issued in Nairobi said the Aug. 1 to 5 workshop, which follows a preparatory forum held in June, will bring together former high ranking officers from the military, police, custodial and intelligence services for in-depth discussions on both the historical background of the Somali security forces, and on the re-establishment and the strengthening of the capacity of the security sector institutions in Somalia.

"In keeping with the spirit of the Djibouti process, this is an opportunity for the former Somali military leaders to contribute to the rebuilding of their nation," the UN Special Representative for Somalia Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah said.

Engaging the former leadership of the Somali Forces is expected to enable them to share their institutional memory and know-how with the current leadership.

With regard to the Somalia's complex problem Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah is blind, clueless, ig'norant and out of reality otherwise he wouldn't enlist the very same c'riminals who in the first place destroyed the country and expect them to rebuild it.
 Mysomalia kkkkkk,
that is exactly the treatment Al-habab and Hisbul Nijaas motherf**kers deserve to face unless they stop licking Arab/Paki/Aghani **ses and return to our proud Somali identity.

waw Gacalka You said it all bro. Hisbul Nijaas kkkk. I couldn't say better then that.
These arab @ss lickers must be cleaned from somalia. The ex-officers who
commited against our country must now payback by by kicking wanna be Pakis from
our noble country. Did u hear what happened to them in Hiiraan? lockal PPl in Mahaas
called al-shabab militia and they said they wanted to talk to them about the security.
As soon as they arrived they started talking about jihad and how every one was kaafir.
the elders gethered a groub of young men and when al-shabab finished their speach
the young men showed up with thier AK47 and massacred all al-habab f@ckers.
No way they can change our somali life style to Paki/Afgan/Arab life syle.
This can be the last opportunity for those ex-officers to rescue our nation against the Osama Bin Liar inspired Pashtuns and their  multi-named local traitors like Al-shabab and Hisbul Nijaas before it is too late.
