Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) - Adam Ade International Airport in Mogadishu has come under heavy mortar shelling today. Some of the shelling landed inside the airport while several others landed nearby areas such as the former Mogadishu Technical School. So far one person has died and four other were wounded as a result of the shelling. The wounded have been taken to Medina hospital in Mogadishu.

Reports say that at the time of the shelling there were passenger airplanes in the airport some of which brought passenger while others where boarding passengers. There are no reported damages to the airplanes.
It is not the first time the airport comes under mortar attacks although the other times the airport was attacked with mortars senior TFG officers flying out of the airport.

Adam Ade International airport has eased  travel in out of Mogadishu since it was reopened by the Islamic Courts Union forces during the six months they controlled Mogadishu and most regions in Southern Somalia. After they were ousted from power by Ethiopian troops supporting the TFG of Somalia, the airport has come under the TFG forces.

 Hi Mr Baghdad lier,
by threatening Somalis who have their say on HOL's Somali forum, you are visible via your IP-adress, even your library card does the same job.  All Somalis are not behind your Sbaroos (road barrier). Some of us can breath &  say as it is! So If your theat continues, your next home WILL BE at Gitmo Bay at best.
