Al-Qaida urges militants to fight planned UN forces in Somalia

Monday, June 23, 2008

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - An al - Qaida spokesman has urged militants in Somalia to fight a United Nations peacekeeping force slated to be deployed there.

In a 19-minute video posted on a militant website today, Abu Yahya Al-Libi also urged Muslim extremists to set up an Islamic government in Somalia.

The Somali government and the opposition Alliance for the Re-Liberation of Somalia agreed this month to "end all acts of armed confrontation" within 30 days and remove Ethiopian troops once a UN peacekeeping force is deployed.

Al-Libi is one of the most visible faces of al-Qaida on the Internet, and has released five statements this year.

He gained fame for escaping from Afghanistan's notorious Bagram prison in 2005.

 "Dr" Eber Abuu xaraam quute,
leave your murderous home-made version of beautiful religion, Islam and return to our original peaceful one, failure to do so has only one outcome:  You get "smoked out" taking with you millions of us other honest muslim Somalis in the prossess.
 Advice to Bob,
Don't bother answering back to some of the lost souls whose task is to 'chat' in this forum.

Drop your bueatiful bombshel comments and then leave for them to ponder on it.

Every one of your comments, no matters how perverse they might seem, rings a bell in some quaters.

Where ever you are from, we, the resistance of Somalia, treasure you.

What happens in Baghdad matters to us much as Palestine matters to us and Afganistan. We are in this together. We shall rise from the abyss together truiphantant.
