Sunday, April 04, 2010

Mogadishu – 03-April-2010 – Somali hard-line militias Hizbul Islam banned music from radios in Mogadishu to broadcast and invited Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden to Somalia, a senior leader of the group said on Saturday.

The hard-line group is led by Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys and they are one of the main rebel groups in Mogadishu.

Moallim Hashi Mohamed Farah, a senior leader of Hizbul Islam told the reporters in Mogadishu on Saturday “Our group invites Osama Bin Laden to come to Somalia if he could, and all other Jihadists in the world to come and join our fight against the Somali government and the African Union troops,”

The group also banned Music from local radios in Mogadishu to broadcast “Local radios must stop playing music and songs with in 10 days, we will punish the radio which disobeys the orders.” Farah said.

The group warned the journalists to call the foreign Jihadists coming from outside Somalia as foreigners.

“We know the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) as foreigners, but not the foreign Islamist fighters,” Farah said.

Al-Shabab another rebel group which USA announced as a terrorist faction, already banned from radios in areas under their control in southern Somalia to broadcast music and Songs.

I didn't make any excuses for anyone....just I explained for the background of such issue. I striaghtened up the record islamically and historically. Meanwhile I never ashamed to say my believe though I stand to be corrected Islamically if and when qualified person/s dawligiis si fiicaan u rito.

BTW, I laughted with your sarcastic welcoming......Mahare

Baadiyow

Waxaa la yidhi geed waxaa ugu ayaan kii ku dhex qallaala biyaha. Bal xadiis baan kuu qoray, waxaad iigu jawaabtay afxumo iyo warjeefnimo. Kaaf iyo kala dheeri.

Inuu khalad dhacay ama jiro anigu ma diidani laakiin jawaabtaada kama tarjumayso akhlaaqda islaamka.

 Bro Adam

Considerable time I was in one of gulf hospitals. I'm back for sometime to Mogadishu. But let me tell ya with honesty, Lamadage didn't change in principle but tactically i have huge reservation on what is going on. There is some deviation from the teaching of Islam in some section of this jihadist group. And the reason is there is no Culima reference in all aspects of this struggle. The good intention and the blood given to this nation is on the brink today unless Somali Islamist correct themselves.

Sh. Xasan Dahir weild a lot of power in Somali politics. But the problem is he lacks skills to weave what is important. Xisbiga differed with shabab in many aspects and xaq to say Xisbiga is right due to islamic knowledge of xisbi members and culima among xisbi backbone.

We tried so hard to unify the two organizations though Xisbi was flexible and have Somali State in sight, Shabaab has different prespective whcih least I can say is illogical. Changing the gains made into political capital that serve Islamic shareecah and broken nation after expelling AMISON was/is and should be our intention. We didn't give up yet for such dream but I can't hide from you or anyone interesting the rule of shareeca and the cry of broken nation my displeasue of some of jihadist stand.

Today, that is why the soul search is on high gear among all Somali Islamist group. Mistakes and counter criticism among Somali J groups reached recently on it the peak. Its not easy to work in such setting but we are hopeful.

A wise man is the one who give his heart for his cause with good reason. A wise man is one who stay on course for the betterment of his deen. A wise man is who employ islamic teaching for right prespective when women and children are the ones who takes the brunt of this war. I didn't change in principle but I see things needed to be fixed before we lose the confident of this broken nation.

So the is no killing machine rather there is misguided machine in some areas we are trying hard to fix it insha Allah before its too late.

 Lamadage;
I almost submitted your name to the "Baafin" section of BBC & HOL but thank God you are safe & sound. Yesterday you asked me the whereabouts of some old timers like Araweelo & Laylamaster. Well, to be honest with you since you & them disappeared around the same time, I thought you were double-dipping in the Jihad frontier. I know Aweys & Turki are powerless paper tigers nowadays, my question to you is who is running the killing machine?. Is there an end to this madness anytime soon?.
