OIC Secretary General calls for urgent international action in support of the Somali Transitional Federal Government

The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic (OIC), Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu who has been following with grave concern the latest escalation of the insurgency in Somalia, has launched an appeal to the international community to discharge its full responsibilities by taking urgent necessary action to ensure the survival of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) in Somalia.
Prof Ihsanoglu pointed out that with the current serious military challenge faced by the internationally recognized TFG under President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, it has become unavoidable that the international community intervenes immediately to solidly back the TFG defeat the insurgency, restoring law and order throughout the country and alleviate the sufferings of the innocent civilians. In this regard, he reminded all OIC Member States of their recent commitment to Somalia made during the Damascus CFM and urged them to come to the aid of the TFG by providing all forms of assistance taking into account the precarious situation on the ground which threatens the continued existence of the legitimate Somali Government.
While reaffirming the OIC's unwavering solidarity with the TFG under the wise leadership of President Sheikh Sharif, the Secretary General then condemned in strongest terms the actions by the insurgents as pure acts of terrorism which run counter to the values of peace and reconciliation promoted by the noble religion of Islam.

Too many toothless organizations calling for the enslavement of the Somali people. Both Arab league and The Organization of the Islamic Conference are front organizations that has never done any thing meaningful to the Arab and Muslims with the exception of releasing nonsense statements.
So-called Ekmeleddin needs to go and visit Kismayu, Baraawe, Marka, Buale, jilib, Jamaame, Baardheere, Jowhar, Bal'ad, Afgooye, Baidoa, Buur Hakaba, and many other towns in South-Central Somalia and see what the men and women in these Somali movements has achieved in such a short time. If you can't help your fellow Muslims, shut up you idiot and traitor of his co-religionists.

Thanks your excellency, Prof Ekmeleddin, Somalis need
the help of the Islamic Countries and the world at large.
These terrorists are the enemies of our beloved, pure and
peaceful Islam religion. All their actions are against the
teachings of Islam, they mislead our young people and give
a wrong impression of our religion to the non-Muslim people.
I hope, that at this point most of the Somalis see them as
traitors who want to destroy first Somalia and then the rest
of the world.

u have wonder where oic have been for past 20 year where poor innocent somalis
have been dieding in the hands of warlords and the ethiopia regime hands backed by their
friends in the west.
