Mogadishu, Somalia (HOL) - The newly elected President of Ghana Mr. John Atta Mills has told the African Union (AU) that his country is seriously considering sending a peacekeeping force to Somalia.
The AU peacekeeping mission in Somalia needs additional peacekeepers since it currently has only 3,200 peacekeeping troops from Uganda and Burundi and the interim central government too week to defend itself after the withdrawal of Ethiopian forces from Somalia.
Head of the AU Political Office Mr. Jean Ping who recently visited Ghana and participated in the swearing ceremony of Ghana’s new President said that Ghana has promised to deploy a peacekeeping force to Somaliavery soon.
“The security situation in Somalia worries us very often nowadays” said Mr. Ping who recently visited several African countries to convince them to send peacekeeping forces to Somalia.
Nigeria and Burkina Faso have also promised to send peacekeeping forces to Somalia but it is not clear yet when they plan to deploy their forces to Somalia.
Apart from the 3,200 Ugandan and Burundian troops currently in Somalia, the AU has been unsuccessful to secure any of the 8,000 peacekeepers it expected to deploy to Somalia as part of its security operations in the war ravaged country.
I am baffled why Somali men are disgracefully parading
their sisters so cheaply, by asking someone who is just
interested in our culture, "are you dating a Somali girl".
On the other hand, maybe I misunderstood by assuming that
people in this forum are all Somali.

as far as I know, Berbers are a folk group in north Africa, like Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Mourtania, Libiya and so on. what I am disburbed about is my own Somalis, not working for their own national interest.

Thank you Mr Atta Mills for your consideration to send your boys to Somali Nomads who are killing each other in daily bases for nothing. You have to try to separate these primitive Somalis before they root out themselves from the face of the earth. The country is yours like any other foreign countries today who is doing what ever they want in Somalia. Like dumping wastes, Fishing, exploiting there national resources both man and material. We need you to stop this madness if you can. We Somalis are lost in darkness and Somali history will remember who was brother in need in difficulty times

What Somalia needs today is neither more uniformed foreign troops whether in AU, EU, American, while, black, yellow or hired somalis in Afghan/Pakistani bikinis specialised in death nor our 1990s men of death and destruction, in pure Somali we call WARABE YAASSHA KU NOOL DHIBATADAA DAD KOODA OR (warlords) hyenas making their living via the misery of their own compatriots.

Mooryaans already said that they will fight any foreigners in somalia as usual when they starving they beg for food and when they are full they will kill you the only way to make them settle down is as i said before give them DIAZIBAM sleeping bills with their food then we will all be ok otherwise the killings will continue.
