Yemen President receives letter from Somalia leader

SANA'A, June 23 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday a letter from Somali President Abdullah Yosuf on current situation in Somalia and efforts of reconciliation among Somalia factions as well as bilateral relations between the tow countries.
The letter was received by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar during his meeting with the Somali Deputy Premier and Minister of Culture and Education.
In the meeting, they discussed fields of the mutual cooperation between the two countries in fields of culture and education and possibilities of offering scholarships by Yemen for Somali students in sectors of higher and vocational education.
Mujawar renewed Yemen's position, which backs efforts of the reconciliation to serve security and stability of the Somali people.
He gave orders to offer 150 scholarships for Somali students.
The Somali official expressed appreciation of the Somali people for the Yemeni position and its support for stability in Somalia.
