My doubts are such that you have become intoxicated with a history of nearly 1000 years ago, and the infancy of the Islamic religion at a particular period when the existence of Islam was not well known on this planet. The sense of nationalism on which both of you are depending is an illusion. If the past 20 years the Somali people haven’t demonstrated that ability or attained a sense of unity which would have fostered an environment of trust, respect and progress- would the Ethiopian invasion produce such a thing? If it didn’t happen before, it will not happen now. Majority of Somalia understands the reality, and that reality is unique in every part of Somalia, and may differ from region to region.

I have heard Mogadishu residents demonstrating about somebody getting sacked & other useless issues before, I have seen Puntland people demonstrating about soaring prices & inflation, and finally I have seen Hargeysa people demonstrating about a well drilling rig moved from one city to another; my question is, are there any Somalis with an ounce of common sense left in Somalia? How about the occupation of every Somali region in different degrees? How about the illegal governments in every capital of these Ethiopian created enclaves? How about the thousands of women & children slaughtered with impunity & the 2.5 million that were displaced by Ethiopian indiscriminate shelling of heavily populated areas? If and when the dust settles we will have our work cut out for us & I don't know where we should start. Entire generations are gone in terms of morality & nationalism but their shells are still there fighting for the wrong cause such as loots & power that isn't there. Allow sahal umuuraha.
