Attack kills 1, injures 4 Somali police

A Somali policeman has been killed and four others injured in a grenade attack on their base in North Mogadishu's Bacad district.

Elsewhere Somali soldiers have looted the Qaran money transfer agency in Jowhar, carrying off $16,000 and opening fire on the building, Press TV correspondent reports.

Violence continues in Somalia which has not had an effective government since the 1991

Somali police force are often targeted in attacks.
