Two Dead after Shooting Spree in Buro

Buro, Somalia (HOL) - Two people died and two others were wounded after a man armed with AK47 automatic assault rifle shot people in a café in the city of Buro of Togdher region.

The commander of the police forces in Togdher region Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Yusuf Gutale, said that the shooting killed two men named Ahmed Yusuf Mohamed who was an inspector with Farah Omar District Police Services of the city of Bur’o and Abdigani Abdillahi Yusuf.

The two people wounded in the shooting, Jama Ali Ibrahim and Mohamed Ahmed are currently being treated at Buro General Hospital.

The shooter is now being held in Bur’o Central Police Station. It is not clear why the man decided to shoot at people in a café although the Crime Investigation Unit of Bur’o Police is currently investigating the crime.

Too many wapens and too many crazy people around is bad compination. Try to collect illegal wapens although I know its very defecult

All the people bellow are no better than those who were jumping happy as they saw 9/11.

The culprit was a man suffering from mental illness, and its a shame to see people enjoying their lives in the west equate the lives of Somalilanders to that misery of Zoomalia. When you begin to hope better for others, will be the days when Allah will bring good news to your Zoomalian black behinds.

sadly, and it is time we Somalilanders accepted it, the chaos and anarchy we thought only affected our southern brothers is coming to us too. This attack was probably a one-off but the general malaise and lalwlessness and despair is palpable in Somaliland. The collapse is probably coming. The last peaceful bit of this awful land is about to explode. I just hope I am wrong.
